The worlds greatest entertainer was how he was billed, never a great film actor, but when he was singing the world stood still.Probably the yardstick that every entertainer measured themselves by was Jolsons way of mesmerising an audience and the fact that no one has done much with his American songbook,w`ell time to put on a 78 what about april showers?you aint heard nothin yet.
