I stand corrected (again)... So, despite the title on the clip, the truth is; this is Ford Pier performing a cover version of the Dave Alvin song, Dry River, at the Railway Club in Vancouver, BC (2001). Kern River is a different song, originally performed by Merle Haggard, but also covered by Dave Alvin.
