Icehouse - Fatman

Made for the yearly Xmas Party. I shot and produced the Opener (along with the 'band'), and edited much of the material, including the final 'Little Accident' song. David Russell also put together many of the out-takes from the commercial production unit, (with superb peacock voice). Sadly, some of the people are no longer with us, including the Super Saturday Host Don Nicolson and my very good friend Rohan Lynas. GMV6 Shepparton in, Victoria began transmission in 1961. Unfortunately it was amalgamated into the city stations by 1990 & like the rest of Australia's regionals, had its local programming severed and eventually its local news (it now comes out of Ballarat). Before then, the regional stations were exciting and vibrant places to work. I was just a teenager when I started. I left in 1989 after several years. It was my first job in TV and I loved it.
