Labyrinth - This World

This film is based on the work of Robbie Cornelissen. His work is characterised by deep perspectives, and an unsettling atmosphere. Drawn in pencil, his vast cityscapes on paper already have a sense of depth, and invoke a curiosity about "what's round the corner". 3D animation was used to explore one of his drawings, and to expand on this world. 2D animation and live action were used to complete the story, and to add elements that go beyond the technique, but are seamlessly integrated into the film.
