Seals & Crofts Comments

I remember seeing Seals & Crofts at a club called The Quiet Knight at Belmont & Sheffield in Chicago in the very early 70's. They had no band, just the two of them. After their set was over, my group hung out to speak with them. They were the most approachable, engaging gentlemen I have ever met. Our group spoke with them for a reasonable amount of time before the staff at The Quiet Knight were asking to close up. These guys were great...we spoke of music, their religion, the new album (Year of Sunday)...just everything. Dash had a blue jean shirt on with a Milk Duds patch sewn on above the breast pocket...so I had to get one. Needless to say, I was a huge fan. I had been following these guys since the late 60's.
