Yanni Albums

Yanni was born on 14 Dec 1954 in Kalamata, Greece. His birth name was Yiannis Hrysomallis. His is also called Yanni.

He is a self-taught pianist, keyboardist, and composer. After receiving a B.A. in psychology, he would instead seek a life in music though he had no formal training and could not read a note.

Yanni released the following albums including In Celebration of Life (2008), Dare to Dream (2008), Live: The Concert Event (2006), The Collection (2006), Live at the Acropolis (CD & DVD) (2005), Ethnicity (2003), Ultimate Yanni (2003), If I Could Tell You (2000), Snowfall (2000), Winter Light (1999), Tribute (1997), In the Mirror (1997), Live at the Acropolis (1994), In My Time (1993), Keys to Imagination (1990), Chameleon Days (1990), Out of Silence (1990) and Reflections of Passion (1990).

In my personal opinion, Yanni is a great musician with human values, feelings and sensibility. I think he loves Mexico, I saw him in 1994 when he came to Mexico the first time, in that date Diana Laura Riojas died, he dedicated a song for her "One man's dream"; he conquered the heart of many mexicans that stayed there (National Auditorium,). I saw him the second time when he came to Monterrey, with Chloe, Leslie Mills, Nathan Pacheco ando other singers.

I admire him for his music and talent.
