Bruce Springsteen was born on 23 Sep 1949 in Long Branch, New Jersey, U.S.. His birth name was Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen. His is also called The Boss.

He is a singer-songwriter. He records and tours with the E Street Band. Springsteen is widely known for his brand of heartland rock infused with pop hooks, poetic lyrics, and Americana sentiments centered on his native New Jersey.
