Ice Cube was born on 15 Jun 1969 in South Central Los Angeles, California, USA. His birth name was O'Shea Jackson. His is also called Ice Cube.

He is a rapper, actor, screenwriter, and producer. He began his career as a member of the rap group N.W.A along with group leader Eazy-E, and later launched a successful solo career in music and cinema. From the mid-1990s onwards, Jackson focused on acting, and his musical output has slowed down considerably.

Ice Cube released the following albums including I Am the West (2010), Death Certificate (2009), Raw Footage (2008), In the Movies (2007), Laugh Now, Cry Later (2006), The Predator (2003), Lethal Injection (2003), AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (2003), Ice Cube - Greatest Hits (2001), War & Peace, Vol.2 (The Peace Disc) (2000), War & Peace Vol. 1 (1998), The Players Club: Music From And Inspired By The Motion Picture (1998) and Bootlegs & B-Sides (1994).
